Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Abstract Explorer Wall ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Abstract Explorer is a community-driven platform that allows users to:
- Discover projects, people, and tokens in the Abstract blockchain ecosystem
- Vote for projects using X (Twitter) authentication
- Customize their viewing experience with favorites and drag-and-drop ordering
- Access curated information about Abstract ecosystem participants
3. User Accounts
3.1 Authentication
To vote on the Platform, you must authenticate using your X (Twitter) account. By doing so, you authorize us to access your public X profile information as described in our Privacy Policy.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use secure session management and OAuth 2.0 PKCE for authentication.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
4. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Vote Manipulation: Use bots, scripts, or automated means to vote
- Multiple Accounts: Create multiple accounts to circumvent voting limits
- Spam: Submit spam, malicious links, or irrelevant content
- Impersonation: Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- System Abuse: Attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the Platform
- Scraping: Use automated tools to scrape or download Platform data
5. Voting System
5.1 Vote Integrity
Each authenticated user may cast one vote per project. We employ anti-fraud measures to detect and prevent vote manipulation.
5.2 Vote Visibility
Vote counts are publicly visible. Individual voting records are private but may be reviewed by administrators to prevent abuse.
5.3 Vote Removal
We reserve the right to remove votes that appear fraudulent or violate these Terms.
6. Content and Curation
6.1 Curated Platform
Abstract Explorer is a curated platform. Project inclusion is at the sole discretion of the administrators. We do not guarantee that any submitted project will be added to the Platform.
6.2 Project Information
Project information (logos, descriptions, links) is provided by project owners or collected from public sources. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but make no guarantees.
6.3 Content Updates
Project owners may request updates to their information by contacting administrators or using the profile editing feature (if enabled for their account).
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Platform Ownership
The Platform, including its code, design, branding (including the penguin mascot), and original content, is owned by Abstract Explorer and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
7.2 User Content
Project logos, names, and descriptions remain the property of their respective owners. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the Platform.
7.3 Third-Party Trademarks
X (Twitter), Abstract, and other third-party names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 No Investment Advice
IMPORTANT: Abstract Explorer is for informational and community purposes only. It does NOT provide investment, financial, or legal advice. Voting or featuring on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation.
9.2 No Warranties
The Platform is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Accuracy or completeness of information
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Security or absence of harmful components
9.3 Third-Party Links
The Platform contains links to external websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abstract Explorer and its operators shall NOT be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Errors or omissions in project information
- Unauthorized access to user accounts
- Decisions made based on Platform content
In no event shall our total liability exceed $100 USD.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Abstract Explorer, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Your use of the Platform
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Changes to the Platform
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features at any time
- Change the Platform's design, layout, or functionality
- Add or remove projects from the curated list
- Suspend or terminate the Platform without notice
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Abstract Explorer regarding the Platform.
